Meg is a born, raised and certifiable Yooper spending many of her years in the Houghton/Hancock area. After receiving a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec and working in Vermont she returned home and started with WUPPDR in August, 2006. Meg is ready to tackle anything that comes across her desk. Her responsibilities include Emergency Management Planning, Hazard Mitigation Planning, Recreation Planning and Copper Country Trail National Byway; in addition she assists on economic development projects and writes grants.
Meg’s interests vary with the seasons, but gardening, reading, music, exercise and getting outside all rank high on her year-round list. In her spare time Meg is attempting to learn Finnish, sings with the Copper Country Chorale, and dreams about vegetables.
